WHEN IS THE deadline to apply?
WITH SHOWS SCHEDULED REGULARLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, OUR SELECTION PROCESS WORKS ON A 'ROLLING' BASIS. THAT MEANS, YOU ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT ANY TIME TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NEXT EXPERIENCE CLOSEST TO YOUR APPLICATION DATE.
How much does it cost if selected and what does it cover?
TALENT NATION is not a “pay-to-play”. AND WHILE CERTAIN FEES MAY APPLY, THEY ARE NOT directly CONNECTED TO “performing” or “exposure". If selected, you will HAVE THE ABILITY to review YOUR OPTIONS in detail, WITH PACKAGES STARTING AS LOW AS $295 FOR
LOCAL
ACTS
(WITHIN 30 MILES OF THE VENUE) AND $395 FOR
NON-LOCAL
ACTS (BEYOND 30 MILES FROM THE VENUE). ALL PRICES INCLUDE TAXES AND FEES.
Would taking part in Talent Nation REQUIRE ME TO sign any restrictive contracts?
nope.
If selected, what type of INDIRECT EXPENSES would I be responsible for?
Participants are responsible for covering ALL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES throughout the DURATION of the program, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MEALS, travel and lodging.
ARE ticketS REQUIRED to attend MY PERFORMANCE?
YES. Tickets are required to attend OUR CONCERTS. The cost per ticket is $25 (plus taxes and fees) and can be purchased online through a dedicated link PROVIDED UPON SELECTION. DEPENDING OF THE PACKAGE YOU SELECT, A minimum quota OF TICKETS SOLD MAY BE required for local acts, WHILE SOME PACKAGES MAY ALREADY INCLUDE A SET OF TICKETS. Ticket revenues help OFFSET THE fixed expenses ASSOCIATED WITH HOSTING A PRODUCTION OF THIS MAGNITUDE, FOR EXAMPLE THE RENTAL COST OF THE VENUE, sound/lighting equipment, technicians, security, cleanup, etc. Talent Nation PACKAGES ARE DESIGNED TO HELP participants share in theSE EXPENSES, making the OPPORTUNITY mORE ACCESSIBLE for all!
What restrictions related to COVID-19 should I be aware of?
restrictions related to COVID-19 vary from venue to venue and LARGELY DEPEND ON government regulations WITHIN EACH REGION. While the situation is quickly IMPROVING WORLDWIDE, we will do our best to update you on ANY MATTERS THAT MIGHT AFFECT YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY, AS WELL AS THOSE OF YOUR GUESTS.
How old do I have to be to join? What type of artists are welcome?
Talent Nation is open to artists of all ages, skill levels and music styles.
How long does the entire experience last?
OUTSIDE OF ANY VITUAL SESSIONS WITH OUR PRODUCERS, ALL IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE OVER 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS AND on weekends (as to HOPEFULLY NOT conflict with any school/work commitments). DAY ONE (Saturday) IS dedicated to IN-PERSON rehearsals, WHILE DAY TWO (Sunday) IS WHEN WE HOST OUR SHOWS (with Soundcheck just prior). Dedicated time slots will be assigned to each PARTICIPANT to allow for ADVANCED scheduling.
Are there any plans to offer this opportunity in more cities (other than the ones currently being advertised)?
Talent Nation IS CURRENTLY BEING HOSTED twice per year IN NEW YORK (US) AND TORONTO (CANADA) — with plans for expansion in the near future. The more demand we have for a SPECIFIC location, the more chance we will consider it. Feel free to reach out with ANY requests, your feedback is important to us!
If selected, who are the coaches I’d be working with? Which venue(s) will I be performing in? How long is my performance?

Can I participate in Talent Nation again if I’ve already done so before?
Yes. Although you will be required to submit a new application for consideration.
I’m interested in performing in more than one city, is this PERMITTED?
Yes. You will have the option to indicate location preferences in your application.
I just submitted my application, does that automatically guarantee me a spot?
No. We are EXTREMELY selective when it comes to the talent we onboard and feature on our stage. Our PANEL will carefully review each submission and make their selections based on best fit. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are not able to offer feedback to those WHO DON'T QUALIFY.
If I received aN email saying I was selected, does that automatically guarantee me a spot?
Yes, as long as you COMPLY WITH our terms and conditions, available to review in MORE detail FOLLOWING YOUR selectION.
What happens once my experience in Talent Nation has concluded?
Beyond just performance opportunities, we also offer a suite of creative MANAGEMENT services for independent artists looking to elevate their music career in the most important areas of their development, including but not limited to: Song Production, A&R, Branding, TikTok Promotions, Digital Marketing & PR. I already signed up but haven’t heard back from anyone, what now?
Our response time is usually 10 - 14 days. we receive a high volume of submissions which may lead to longer than normal waiting periods. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!
