for the chance to perform in shows taking place this winter/spring, applications must be submitted by no later than february 13, 2022.
How much does it cost if selected and what does it cover?
FIRSTLY, TALENT NATION is not a “pay-to-play”. Applicable fees are not directly associated with “performing ON STAGE” or “exposure IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY”. INSTEAD, We offer a variety of packages (starting at $295) THAT cover the development of your performance skills – including virtual consultations and in-person rehearsals led by qualified EXPERTS, offering valuable guidance, feedback and strategy leading up to your LIVE concert performance. We also provide high quality pictures and video footage of your set, professionally edited to help BOOST your content and secure future bookings. If selected, you will receive a link to review YOUR OPTIONS and OUR terms in further detail, at which point you will have the CHOICE TO either accept or decline the opportunity to participate.
Would taking part in Talent Nation involve ME HAVING TO me sign any restrictive contracts?
If selected, what type of additional costs would I be responsible for?
Participants are responsible for covering their own FOOD, travel and lodging EXPENSES throughout the course of the program.
Do guests need a ticket to attend the concert?
Yes. CONCERT Tickets will be available FOR purchase through a dedicated EVENT link and MUST BE PRESENTED upon entry. The cost per ticket is $25 (plus taxes and fees). A minimum NUMBER OF TICKETS SOLD MAY BE tied TO YOUR PERFORMANCE IN THE SHOW, depending on YOUR selectED PACKAGE. please note that Ticket revenues help cover fixed expenses directly linked to your LIVE performance, such as sound/lighting equipment, venue rental costs, technicians, security staff, cleanup, etc. Talent Nation offers participants the chance to share in theSE EXPENSES, thereby making the experience more affordable for all!
What restrictions related to COVID-19 should I be aware of?
Venue restrictions along with government regulations related to COVID-19 vary from venue to venue and district to district. While the situation is quickly evolving, we will do our best to update you on this in detail upon your selection and before your commitment to participate.
How old do I have to be to join? What type of artists are welcome?
Talent Nation is open to artists of all ages, skill levels and music styles.
How long does the entire experience last?
Talent Nation TAKES PLACE OVER 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS, not including THE virtual consultationS with producers in the weeks leading up to THE CONCERT TO HELP STRATEGIZE your performance. our events are scheduled on weekends (as not to conflict with any school/work commitments), with Saturday dedicated to IN-PERSON rehearsals and Sunday being show day (with an extensive Soundcheck just prior). Dedicated time slots will be assigned to each PARTICIPANT to allow for ADVANCED scheduling.
Are there any plans to offer this opportunity in more cities other than the ones currently being advertised?
Talent Nation IS OFFERED twice per year (Spring & Fall) in THE FOLLOWING CITIES: Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando and Nashville — with plans for expansion in the near future. The more demand we have for a SPECIFIC location, the more chance we will consider it. Feel free to reach out with ANY requests, your feedback is important to us!
If selected, who are the coaches I’d be working with? Which venue(s) will I be performing in? How long is my performance?

Can I participate in Talent Nation again if I’ve already done so before?
Yes. Although you will be required to submit a new application for consideration.
I’m interested in performing in more than one city, is this possible?
Yes. You will have the option to indicate location preferences in your application.
I just submitted my application, does that automatically guarantee me a spot?
No. We are EXTREMELY selective when it comes to the talent we onboard and feature on our stage. Our PANEL will carefully review each submission and make their selections based on best fit. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are not able to offer feedback to those WHO HAVE not BEEN selected.
If I received aN email saying I was selected, does that automatically guarantee me a spot?
Yes, as long as you follow through on our terms and conditions, available to review in MORE detail FOLLOWING YOUR selectION.
What happens once my experience in Talent Nation has concluded?
Beyond just performance opportunities, we also offer a suite of creative services for independent artists looking to elevate their music career in the most important areas of their development, including but not limited to: Song Production, A&R, Branding, TikTok Promotions, Digital Marketing & PR. I already signed up but haven’t heard back from anyone, what now?
Our response time is usually 10 - 14 days. we receive a high volume of submissions which may lead to longer than normal waiting periods. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!
